Bookkeeper

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including posting journal entries, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports. They will also be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and reconciling any balance sheet accounts. The Bookkeeper will work closely with management to ensure financial accuracy and compliance, and will be responsible for producing financial statements and reports on a regular basis. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and be committed to providing exceptional service to our clients.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related fields is preferred
  • Must have an expert level of knowledge in general accounting and bookkeeping, along with proficiency in Excel.
  • Must have extensive experience in posting journal entries, preparing payroll reports, and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong ability to analyze financial data. Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, and errors are identified and corrected promptly.
  • Should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as they will work closely with management and other team members to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
  • Proven ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and solve problems in a proactive manner, ensuring the smooth operation of all aspects of the marketing team’s activities.
  • Demonstrated professionalism in all interactions, including maintaining a positive attitude, demonstrating empathy and understanding, and providing excellent customer service.
  • A strong commitment to upholding company rules and regulations, demonstrating compliance with all relevant policies and procedures at all times.
  • Proven ability to multitask effectively and work under pressure, managing multiple priorities and deadlines without compromising quality or accuracy.
  • Availability and flexibility to work long hours as required, including outside of normal business hours, and being reachable and responsive at all times to support the needs of the team and clients
